Arunachal Pradesh Judo Team Shines at the 69th National School Games
Ludhiana, Punjab : The 69th National School Games 2025–26, held at Ludhiana, Punjab from 5th to 11th January 2026, concluded on a high note with an outstanding performance by Team Arunachal Pradesh in Judo.
The Arunachal Pradesh Judo Team, comprising eight talented players, delivered an impressive performance at the national stage, securing one Gold Medal and one Silver Medal, a commendable achievement that brought pride and honour to the state.
Medal Winners:
- Mr. Ragi Techi – Below 50 kg category – Gold Medal
- Gichik Tanang – Above 50 kg category – Silver Medal
The team’s success is a testament to their dedication, discipline, rigorous training, and unwavering determination, as well as the guidance and support of their coaches and officials. Competing against some of the best young judokas from across the country, the athletes from Arunachal Pradesh demonstrated remarkable skill, resilience, and sportsmanship.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for school-level sports in Arunachal Pradesh and serves as an inspiration for young athletes across the state to pursue excellence in sports.
