NCP’s Nabam Piju Elected Unopposed as ZPC of Keyi Panyor
Yachuli : The election for the post of Zilla Parishad Chairperson of Keyi Panyor district was successfully conducted at Mini Secretariat Yachuli in a smooth and peaceful manner.
The meeting commenced with the administration of Oath/Affirmation to all the Zilla Parishad Members present. The election process was carried out strictly in accordance with the prescribed rules and schedule.
The election was conducted through raise of hands, in which all six (6) Zilla Parishad Members attended and actively participated. Following the completion of the voting process, Smt. Nabam Piju, Zilla Parishad Member from 01-Pitapool Zilla Parishad Constituency, received the majority support of the members and was duly declared elected as the Zilla Parishad Chairperson of the 27-Keyi Panyor District.
The entire proceedings were conducted smoothly, transparently, and peacefully under the supervision of the Presiding Officer. The meeting concluded after the formal declaration of the election result.
The successful conduct of the election reflects the democratic spirit and collective cooperation of the elected members of the Zilla Parishad.
