Arunachal Cabinet Approves Recruitment Rules for 12 Categories of Technical College Posts

Itanagar, October 11 : The Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet approved uniform, merit-based recruitment rules for 12 categories of teaching and technical posts in government engineering and polytechnic colleges.
The rules have been framed in accordance with the applicable All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Regulations, 2019, with the aim of ensuring transparency and uniformity in recruitment.
The approved posts include Principals of government engineering and polytechnic colleges; Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors in engineering colleges; Workshop Superintendents, Assistant Librarians, Laboratory Assistants, Senior Technical Assistants and System Analysts; and Heads of Department (Civil Engineering) in government polytechnic colleges.
In another education-related decision, the Cabinet approved renaming Government College, Seppa, as Donglo Sonam Government College, Wessang, in honour of Late Donglo Sonam for his contribution to East Kameng district and Arunachal Pradesh.
It also approved renaming Government Higher Secondary School, Daporijo, as Lt. Punji Mara Government Higher Secondary School, Daporijo, and Government Model Degree College, Daporijo, as Popak Bage Government Model Degree College, Reempu Yorlo.
The decisions aim to strengthen technical education recruitment and recognize contributions to the State through the naming of educational institutions.
