GETO SORA LIFTS JUNIOR INTERNATIONAL BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP
Kuala Lumpur, 23 December: Young shuttler Geto Sora has proved it again in the overseas badminton Championship by beating Jaryl Teh of Malaysia’s seed No 2 player in finals by 21-5, 21-16 in straight under 9 age category at Top Arena Junior International Badminton Championship at Kaula Lumpur.
Geto has rocked hundreds of spectators during the final matches and it’s indeed a great achievement for a young shuttler to the state. Arunachal State Badminton Association Secretary General Bamang Tago congratulated Geto and applauded his consistent performance in the overseas tournament.
ASBA has many more Geto Sora who can excel on the international stage if the call of the hour is timely and there’s collective support from the Government and parents in days to come, stated Tago.
