Yuva Sangam Delegates Experience Governance, Spirituality and Cultural Heritage in Arunachal Pradesh

NERIST, 27 May : The second day of Yuva Sangam Phase VI under the flagship initiative Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat offered delegates from Uttar Pradesh an enriching exposure to the governance, spiritual traditions, and vibrant cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh.

Accompanied by the NERIST Yuva Sangam team, the delegates began the day with a visit to Lok Bhawan, where they had the honour of interacting with the Hon’ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh. During the interaction, the Governor shared valuable insights into the history, traditions, cultural diversity, and developmental journey of the state. The session provided participants with a deeper understanding of Arunachal Pradesh and its unique socio-cultural identity.

The delegates later visited the Gompa Buddhist Temple, where they experienced the peaceful spiritual atmosphere and learned about Buddhist traditions and practices followed in the region. The visit was followed by an interaction at Donyi Polo Gangging, where participants gained knowledge about the indigenous faith, beliefs, and cultural values of the local communities of Arunachal Pradesh.

In the evening, a vibrant Cultural Night was organized at the NERIST Silver Jubilee Hall. Delegates and participants showcased cultural performances representing the diversity and richness of their respective states. The event created an atmosphere of unity, friendship, and cultural exchange, strengthening the spirit of national integration among the youth.

The day concluded on a meaningful note, reflecting the vision of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” through experiential learning, cultural interaction, and mutual understanding among participants from different parts of the country.
