Resonance’25 Concludes with Vibrant Celebration at Saint Claret College, Ziro
Ziro, 1 November : The annual art, literature, cultural, sports and games fest, Resonance’25 of Saint Claret College (Autonomous), Ziro, concluded on Saturday. The week-long festival, organised jointly by the college’s St. Claret Art & Literary Endeavour (SCALE) and Sports and Games Association (SAGA), commenced on October 27 and brought together students in a celebration of creativity and sportsmanship.
Tasso Hinda, Managing Director of M/s P.H. Construction, attended the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by Taru Maji, Executive Engineer, PWD Ziro, and Tasso Butung, District Agriculture Officer, Ziro.
For the fest, students were grouped into four teams, viz., Namdapha led by Teri Taje and Joram Akania, Dibangled by Yiyum Boje and Diidong Kendo Yirang, Sessaled by Laa Puski and Tokrik Panggeng, and Kamlangled by Higio Meykum and Akor Modi.
After a series of competitions spanning various categories, Dibang emerged as the overall champion, securing 322 points, while Sessa finished as the runners-up with 277 points.
Judia Hrangkhawl of Dibang was awarded the Individual Championship title for his exceptional performance across multiple events.
For the first time, Mr. & Ms. Resonance pageant show competition was held as part of the fest. After a competitive round of introduction, creativity round, and question-answer session round, Yiyum Boje of Team Dibang was crowned Ms. Resonance 2025, earning admiration for her eloquence and grace. Likewise, Miyik Yirang of Dibang received the title of Mr. Resonance 2025.
In total, 41 events were conducted during the fest, covering a broad spectrum of art, literary contests, cultural showcases, sports, and indoor-outdoor games. The weeklong annual fest sought to inspire creativity, encourage cultural exchange, and provide a platform for students to exhibit and nurture their talents.
