One Day Awareness campaign on career prospects in RBI held in DNGC
Itanagar, 23 November : A one-day program on “Awareness campaign on career prospects in Reserve Bank of India” initiated by RBI Itanagar branch in collaboration with the Department of Commerce Dera Natung Government College (DNGC), Itanagar was organized on 22nd Nov. 2023 at the conference hall DNGC Itanagar. A total of 83 students from various departments of the college attended the program.
Dr. Wangda G. Gyana HOD (in charge) gave the welcome address and highlighted the importance of organizing such awareness program for the students.
The principal DR. M.Q. Khan while highlighting the prevalent problem of unemployment in the state and the nation lauded the efforts of RBI in conducting such programs for the students. The principal also encouraged the students to grab such opportunities and reap maximum benefit out of such programmes.
The first resource person Mr. Raju Manpang Manager RBI Itanagar Branch, in his presentation briefed the history and functions of RBI. He also delivered a presentation on the salary, promotional aspects and other benefits attached with such career at RBI. Mr. Chhouraj Kumar Deori Assistant Manager RBI Itanagar Branch conducted a quiz competition among the students and prizes were given to the winners. The students actively participated in the question and answer session after the presentation by the resource persons. Ms. Pate Jumshi assistant professor gave the vote of thanks in the program. The programme was coordinated by the assistant professors of the department Ms. Geyir Ete, Dr. Likha Eichir, Ms. Biri Amji and Dr. Chello Lima
