Joint-inspection of Akajan to Bam Trans-Arunachal Highway.
Bam, 18th March : A joint-inspection was done for Akajan to Bam Trans-Arunachal Highway by the highway inspection team of Galo Welfare Society and other CBOs of the area in presence of Highway construction agency NHDCIL as directed by Union Minister Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju.
As per the report, the road is under construction for more than 7 years. Till now only some stretch of the road is complete but the quality of the road is poor and compromised, said locals.
A thorough inspection was done by the team for more than 12 hour. At the end of the day a meeting was held where all the members expressed their dissatisfaction with the quality of road and redirected to rectify the mistakes made by the construction agency.
